November 2018 – Yet another fantastic Go North Wales Tourism awards evening. It is such a great opportunity to celebrate the North Wales Tourism industry and so lovely to catch up with fellow colleagues in the industry. 

November 2018 – IBTM 2018 in Barcelona for the 4^th year. Always such a fantastic event to meet new suppliers, make new connections at the hosted buyer evenings and catch up with old colleague friends. Always love finding out about new innovative experiences on offer in locations across the globe for team building, incentive, and conference events. Since the visit some of the new relationships built have been to stay in North Wales following conversations from Sweden, Germany and France.

October 2018 – second year sponsoring the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce awards at Chester racecourse alongside Umbrella Marketing. Actually, managed to reach the microphone this year! It was a wonderful evening, celebrating the successes of local businesses.

In April 2018 – armadillo headed to Tokyo with a suitcase packed full of locally produced goodies kindly provided by Baravellis, Aberfalls Distillery, Aberfraw Biscuits. It was an exciting opportunity to present to travel businesses over in Tokyo and talk about the wonderful opportunities North Wales offers to Japanese visitors, further enhancing the message and work that North Wales Tourism is currently doing with Japanese connections to build relations. Within two weeks upon returning, a company from Tokyo booked a venue in North Wales as result of the trip.
